Lakewood HS: As a senior, he was named the school’s Athlete of the Year… Helped the wrestling team to three straight Moore League championships… Won two individual league championships and placed second the other two years… As a senior, he was the CIF runner-up and placed seventh at the Masters Meet, which qualified him for the state championships… Finished sixth in the CIF Championships as a junior after placing fifth his sophomore year and qualifying for the Masters Meet…..

Personal: Most memorable moment was his overtime win in the CIF semi-finals that sent him to the championship match… Would like to transfer to Cal State Long Beach and aspires to be a police officer… His father wrestled at his high school in Wisconsin… Has three brothers – Josh (20), James (18) and Jon (16)… Is the son of David and Janet Janecky… Born in Long Beach, CA on April 30, 1990…..
