Canyon Springs HS: Won the National Championship as a senior and finished second at the state championships… Also won the Masters Meet, CIF and the league championship… Named All-State as a senior, while he was a three-time All-CIF and four-time all-league selection… Placed fifth at the Masters Meet his junior year, while coming in ninth at CIF and winning the conference championship… Came in fifth at the Nationals as a sophomore after coming in fifth at the Masters Meet and second in CIF … As a freshman, he placed sixth at CIF and second in the league championships…..

Personal: Most memorable moments were his accomplishments as a senior and posting a 50-5 record… Would like to transfer to Arizona State University… Is the younger brother of Joe Cabanas, who placed third at the state championships last year for the Falcons and now wrestles in the Army… Nicknamed “Steven”… Has two other siblings – Kiana (13) and Ariana (8)… Is the son of Joe Cabanas… Born in Lakewood, CA on October 10, 1990…..
