North Torrance HS: Named the Daily Breeze Wrestler of the Year as a senior after winning the CIF championship and posting a 44-8 record… Was voted the team’s Most Valuable Player and captain… Garner the Outstanding Junior Award after finishing with a 33-10 record, while he received the Coaches Award as a sophomore… Voted the Most Improved Freshman… Was coached by current Falcon head coach Don Garriott…..

Personal: Most memorable moment was winning the CIF championship his senior year… Would like to transfer back to San Diego State University or the University of California-Berkeley… Aspires to be a rocket scientist… Likes to wrestle in his spare time… Nicknamed “Knizz”… Has one sibling – Christina (25)… Is the son of Tim and Melody Knerr… Born in Torrance, CA on January 5, 1989…..
