Instructions on viewing
the Power Point presentation

MATH 110A: Mathematics for Elementary
Teachers I
When you click on "Divisibility Rules" the
power point presentation will come up with the first slide showing, and the
outline of all the slides at the left.
Outline Frame:
This frame can be removed (or expanded) by dragging
the vertical bar next to it on the left part of the screen, using your
mouse. When your mouse is on the bar, the pointer will change to a
two-pronged arrow.
At the bottom of the outline frame, there is also an
icon to either collapse or expand the outline, giving you either the name
of each slide (collapsed) or both the name and the content (expanded).
Clicking on the name of any of the slides will show
that particular slide in the main frame.
Main Frame:
The main frame of the screen contains the
presentation. At the bottom there are arrows to take you from slide to
slide. This will simply show each slide, without the animation that was
built into it.
If you want to see the slide show of the
presentation, click on the icon at the bottom far-right. This will show
you the "slide show", as we saw it in class. To advance through
the presentation, press the Spacebar on your keyboard or click
the left mouse button.
To exit the slide show before it is over, press the Esc
key.
