MATH 60: Are you ready for this online mathematics  course?
(page divider)

It is almost a requirement that distance learning students be more focused and better time managers than students taking the course on campus, and that they be able to work both independently and as group members. Other helpful characteristics include strong self-motivation, self-discipline and assertiveness.                                                                                              - Darcy Hardy

It is important that you think about whether a mathematics course online is a good fit for you. You may have taken other online courses and have done the orientation required by the college, but I would like you to think about and write down what you intend to do to be a successful online mathematics student.
