Jeanora Price
International Student Adviser

JEANORA PRICE  has experience working with  diverse students, including international, first-generation, transfer, and much more.

Additionally, Jeanora is a proud product of both the California Community system and California State University system, earning her AA in Social Behavioral Science from Fullerton College, BA in Human Communication with a minor in Public Relations from CSU Fullerton, and MA in Higher Education Leadership from CSU Northridge.

Jeanora is a strong believer in intersectionality and celebrating one’s multiple identities as it is essential to not only combat oppression and racism but to also be advocates for marginalized groups.

Steve Brooks

Steve Brooks
International Student Academic Counselor

STEVE BROOKS earned a BA in Communications from Virginia Union University and a MS from University of La Verne in Educational Counseling. In addition to International counseling, he has also served and taught courses in EOPS, Veterans, Athletic and General Counseling. Steve's 14 years of counseling experience has afforded him the opportunity to connect with and appreciate diverse cultures.

Gladys Calderon

Gladys Calderon
Assistant Director, International Student Services & Cultural Engagement

Gladys earned a BA in Political Science with a minor in Migration Studies from UC San Diego and later completed an MS in Higher Education Leadership & Student Development from California Baptist University. Gladys loves travel and immersing herself in new cultures. With 13 years of experience in international education, Gladys loves advocating for international students and supporting their academic journeys.

The Office of International Student Services (OISS) fosters the education and development of International Students with an F-1 status to achieve their academic goals, through comprehensive student support services, including assistance with admission, academic counseling, advising, advocacy, reporting, and compliance enforcement regarding F-1 visa status, personal matters, and cross-cultural integration. With a global equity focused lens, the OISS program supports campus globalization through international education, intercultural-awareness, social, and cross-cultural integration.
