About the Exam

       Part 1: Formulas and Equations  (50 points)

     You will do this part of the experiment first and then hand it in.  You may not use a calculator on this part of the exam.

                        On this part of the exam you will be tested on:

                        Nomenclature:  writing formulas and names for compounds

Chemical equations:  writing and balancing equations and predicting products; writing net ionic equations.

• You must get at least 33 out of the 50 points possible on part 1 of the exam in order to qualify to get at least a C in the course!

Part 2: Questions and Calculations (150 points)

This part of the exam is not multiple choice

Office Hours During Finals Week:

Monday 12/12, 1-2 pm

Tuesday 12/13, 1-2 pm

Wednesday 12/14, 9-10 am

           

Note:  You must check out of your locker and pay any money owed to the stockroom before finals week begins.  The stockroom is not open during finals.  Failure to check out of your locker will result in your records being placed on administrative hold.
