Final Notes
English 100 Online

          Well, this is it.  If you're reading this, you've probably completed most all of your work for this course.   You deserve hearty congratulations.  Not only is English 100, Freshman Composition, one of the most difficult courses to take, but you selected to complete it in one of the most difficult ways:  via the online course.

          Listed below are the assignments you'll need to have completed to receive a passing grade.  Please understand, you do not have to re-submit any assignments.  This is so that you know what you've turned in.:

1. Essay 1 -- a narrative of an event
2. Analysis of "Uncle Willie"
3. Prospectus for your research project
4. Position Paper
5. Causal Analysis
6. Refutation
7. Final Research Project -- a proposal that will include the following:
   • Definition of the Problem
   • A Causal Analysis
   • Proposed Solution
   • Refutation
   • Conclusion
8. Weekly Writing Assignments
9. Novel Journal
10. Novel Paper

         All assignments will be due by Monday, 13 December.  Also note that I won't be able to comment as extensively on late papers as I have been, simply because there isn't enough time left in the course.
