Weekly Writing Assignment

This assignment is as easy as it is important.  All I want you to do is to find a sample of each of the six different sources listed below and cite each as if you were creating a Works Cited page.  You're welcome to use the sources you find for your Position Paper assignment.

Be sure to read chapter 22, especially the sample research paper at the end, and you can check my abbreviated notes on using the MLA format at:  Citing and Acknowledging Sources.

• Book
• Article in a reference book (e.g., an encyclopedia)
• Article from a magazine
• Article from a newspaper
• Personal interview
• Article from the internet

For example, you might offer a book like this:

• Simon, Kate.  Bronx Primitive.  New York:  Harper, 1982. 

This should be easy...  Right?
