I am in the process of revising this site, so please bear with me. Some years ago I had a simple black and white darkroom setup and spent considerable time with black and white photographs. However, the press of life made continued use of the darkroom impractical, so I discontinued my photographic activities, except for the "family and friends" variety. The advent of the computer as a "darkroom on a desk", along with reasonably priced printers which produce acceptable prints, rekindled my interest.

All of the photographs shown here were taken with one of two 35mm cameras - a Nikon 6006 or an Olympus Stylus point-and-shoot. The negatives were scanned into the computer using an HP PhotoSmart scanner. I usually shoot color negative film; the black and white images were converted from color in PhotoShop. I am currently experimenting with black and white film to compare the results with the computer processed versions.

I don't intend to post strictly travel pictures, but at present it seems logical to sort the images geographically. I would greatly appreciate any comments anyone might have regarding these images.
