Mountain and Trail Running Update #2

Dear Runners,

Team USA wins Challenge Stellina!  Paul Low (MA) and Simon Gutierrez (NM)
finished 5th and 6th respectively (1:21:06 & 1:21:09) giving them the
overall team title at the 2003 Challenge Stellina in Susa, Italy.  Paul set
the fastest time ever run by an American at the Challenge Stellina.
Colorado's Mark Werner finished in 18th place in a time of 1:28:38.  Once
again New Zealand's Jonathan Wyatt was the class of the field winning by
over 4 minutes.  For complete results go to:

Teva US Mountain Running Team member Kelli Lusk finished 12th in the women's
race in a time of 58:31.  Kelli won the women's race earlier this year at
the USATF-NE Mountain Running Championships.  Complete women's results can

This year Paul won the USATF-NE Mountain Running Championships and the
rugged Barr Trail Race in Colorado.  Simon won this years Teva Spring Run
Off and the Mt. Washington Road Race.  Look for Paul, Simon, Mark and Kelli
at the 2003 World Mountain Running Trophy this September in Girdwood, AK.
