D - Councils

2 - Mountain/Ultra/Trail Council:

a Duties and responsibilities: The council shall govern its discipline.

b Make-up: The council shall consist of chair and up to fourteen (14) members named by the Long Distance division chair in consultation with the sport committee chairs of the division. At least twenty percent (20%) of the members shall be active athletes selected by the active athletes delegates to the USATF.
