You can also use an artist’s last name as a subject. A search for Turner, Robert will give you a list of books about Robert Turner.
In general, books on ceramics will be shelved in the N’s or the T’s depending on whether they deal with the art (N) or craft and technology (T) of ceramics.
Reference Books

The American Ceramics Society This nonprofit organization "serves the informational, educational, and professional needs of the international ceramics community. Some material is only available to members.
National Council on Education for the Ceramic Arts The National Council on Education for the Ceramic Arts is a professional association of individuals and organizations whose interests, talents and careers are focused on the ceramic arts.
Gardiner Museum of Ceramic Art http://www.gardinermuseum.on.ca/ Information about this Canadian museum "devoted to ceramics." The site features a database of images of selected items from the collection, and an overview of the museum's holdings of ceramics from the ancient Americas, Asia, and Europe, and contemporary works.
