Online Journal and Reference Articles Journals and magazines usually provide the most current information on a topic. Journal articles are more scholarly or professional while magazine articles tend to be shorter and more general. Newspaper articles, while not usually scholarly or professional, can give you the most current news and some additional facts on your topic. On the Google home page you can type your keywords and click on Google Search to go directly to Internet sites.
Google also offers a Subject Directory, if you prefer. On the Google home page, click on more>> and then click on Directory. Next click on Society, then Issues, then Violence and Abuse. Select the category that interests you. You will get a list of useful links.
