Introduction to College Reading Skills
Prerequisite: Satisfactory completion of the Reading
Placement Process or READ 42 or equivalent with a grade
of Credit or "C" or higher.
This course is designed for students who wish to
improve basic reading skills. Coursework includes work on
fundamental word analysis skills and fundamental
comprehension skills. This course will be offered on a
credit/no credit basis only.
To receive credit for this course, students will need to
demonstrate that they are reading at the tenth grade
level.
