OPTION C:  LVN - ADN MOBILITY PROGRAM

The Nursing Program offers to qualified Licensed Vocational Nurse applicants advanced placement into the second year of the program. LVNs are given an opportunity to prepare for professional nursing through the pursuit of specific knowledge and skills. Graduates from the program, in addition to receiving an Associate in Arts Degree, are eligible for the NCLEX-RN examination for licensure as a Registered Nurse.

Prerequisite and Additional Required Clearances

Applications for Option C found under "Application Process".  Applications submitted to Nursing-Apps@cerritos.edu following the electronic submission directions.  Option C applicants must provide a copy of a valid California LVN license, all LVN transcripts, and verification of at least one (1) year of direct patient care experience in a skilled nursing or hospital based facility.

*Option C applicants are NOT admitted using the Multi-Criteria Admission Process.
*The number of applicants admitted to the program each semester is based on space availability.
