Job Fair Coming to Cerritos College on April 7

Resume and job prep workshops offered

WHAT: As employment numbers within Los Angeles County increased with an additional 45,800 jobs from January 2016 to February 2016*, job seekers will have an opportunity to explore greater career options and speak with more than 40 employers at Cerritos College's semi-annual Job Fair. The free Fair will be held at the College on Thursday, April 7, 9:30 a.m. - 1 p.m. in Library/Falcon Square sidewalk.

Attendees can apply for job positions on site, and network with employers from several industries, including healthcare, sales, retail, and government/public sectors.

Job seekers should dress in business attire and bring copies of their resumes.

Workshops will also be offered prior to the Job Fair:

Resume Workshop
Workshop covering basics of resume structure and content
Monday, April 4, 2-3 p.m. in BE 108

Working the Job Fair
Workshop explores how to market yourself to employers
Tuesday, April 5, 11 a.m. – 12 p.m. in BE 105
