Get Covered! Affordable Care Act Enrollment Events at Cerritos College

WHAT: Covered California enrollment representatives will be at Cerritos College to help students and residents enroll in the Affordable Care Act (Obamacare) and get healthcare coverage for 2017.  While the future of the Affordable Care Act is uncertain, people who enroll in the health care program through Covered California by January 31, 2017 will be covered for the year. Free in-person enrollment and assistance will be available at the enrollment events below. Financial assistance may be available to those who are eligible. Open enrollment ends January 31, 2017. Residents can enroll and get covered to avoid penalties. See flyer.

Enrollees must bring the following documents for each family member:
• Driver’s license, CA ID or Passport
• Social Security number
• Proof of income (pay stub, last year’s taxes, EDD unemployment letter)
• Green card/Visa/Certificate of Naturalization

• Thursday, Jan. 12               1 p.m. – 4 p.m. (Falcon Square)

• Tuesday, Jan. 17                1 p.m. – 4 p.m. (Falcon Square and BK 111)

• Wednesday, Jan. 18         9 a.m. – 12 p.m. (Falcon Square and BK 111)

• Thursday, Jan. 19               1 p.m. – 4 p.m. (Falcon Square and BK 111)

• Thursday, Jan. 26               1 p.m. – 4 p.m. (In front of the Bookstore and BK 111)

Medi-Cal Enrollment

Available to qualified individuals (Department of Public Social Services)

• Tuesday, Jan. 10 and 17              1 p.m. - 4 p.m.

• Wednesday, Jan. 11 and 18        9 a.m. – 12 p.m.

• Thursday, Jan. 12, 19 and 26       1 p.m.- 4 p.m.
