Commercial Music Fair Coming to Cerritos College

WHAT: The Cerritos College Music Department will host the Commercial Music Fair, June 22. The event will feature live product demonstrations, workshops, presentations and the college's Commercial Music program.

Special workshops will feature changing revenue streams of the music business by Bobby Owsinski, and a songwriting & K-pop music workshop by pop-writing duo Lyre.

The event will close with an outdoor concert featuring student musicians and special guests Josh Spoon, produced by the Portable Entertainment Technology program. The college's Theatre Department program, which trains entry-level stage technicians to work on portable entertainment events, will also be showcased. Attendees will have an opportunity to sit in during a pre-concert sound check and learn about the stage and live sound courses taught by the Theatre Department.

All workshops/performances are open to the public.
