Free Income Tax Assistance Event on April 7

WHAT: The Cerritos College Accounting Department and Accounting Club are pleased to offer free income tax assistance on April 7. Sponsored by the Internal Revenue Services (IRS), the Volunteer Income Tax Assistance (VITA) provides free tax help to people who generally make $54,000 or less, persons with disabilities and limited English speaking taxpayers who need assistance in preparing their tax returns.

IRS-certified volunteers provide free basic income tax return preparation with electronic filing to qualified individuals. Individuals should bring all tax documents received for the year 2017.
