Cerritos College to Host Making Strides Against Breast Cancer on October 10

Campus Police Offers Pink Patches for Sale for Cancer Awareness

WHAT: To celebrate those who have fought the battle against breast cancer and to educate the community about the disease, Cerritos College will host a Making Strides Against Breast Cancer event on Wednesday, October 10. The event will be held in the College’s Falcon Square, 3 p.m. - 6 p.m.

The event will feature a survivor, family and supporter walk. There will also be a Luminaria ceremony to honor survivors and those who have lost the battle to cancer. Participants can learn more about breast cancer resources during the event.

To raise additional funds for cancer research, The Cerritos College Campus Police department will be on-hand to sell special pink patches for $10. Join the event or donate online, or sign-up at the event. View the flyer.

All proceeds will go to the American Cancer Society to help fund breast cancer education, research, and treatment.
