Geography 101 Cloud Tutorial Page 1

This tutorial consists of twelve cloud images. Carefully examine each image. Have your textbook handy (if you wish). Learn to ask yourself the following questions: 1) what is the color of the cloud? 2) what does it appear to be made of, ice crystals or water droplets? 3) what is the overall shape of the cloud; flat, puffy, or very, very puffy? 4) is the cloud nearly transparent, or it is opaque? 5) is it raining? 6) where is the cloud in relation to the horizon?

The tutorial is organized into three pages. There are four images per page for quicker downloading time. After you have reached a decision, and identified the cloud type (by name) to the best of your ability, click on the button corresponding to what you believe is the correct answer. The computer will let you know how well, or not, that you did! And so, why not let the practice commence?
