COURSE MATERIALS AND SUPPLIES:  Legal Office Procedures by Joyce Morton, 7th ed.,
Pearson Prentice Hall, 2004.

HOMEWORK ASSESSMENTS:  (ASSESS)  Students are expected to read the textbook chapters
designated for each of the 15 weeks.  Students will also be expected to do the Student Assessments
 for each of the chapters.  These Assessments will be turned in weekly for grade as they are very
 necessary to assist you in completely the graded assignments.  These Student Assessments
will be graded on a weekly basis.  Total possible points for Student Assessments are 232.5 points.

 VOCABULARY QUIZZES:  At the end of each chapter there are vocabulary lists that students
are responsible for knowing the spelling as well as the definition of.  There will be three vocabulary
 quizzes, two quizzes worth 50 points and one quiz worth 25 points for a total possible points of 125.

STUDENT ASSIGNMENTS:  (ASSIGN)  The Student Assignments are listed at the end of each
chapter. Each student assignment is worth 5 points for total possible points of 380.  Student
Assignments must be complete and on time to receive full credit.  All late Assignments will
have an automatic deduction of one-half (1/2) the possible points.

 EXAM(S):   The final exam will be comprehensive and cover chapters 1 through 16.  The Final
 Exam is worth 200 points.  There are NO MAKE-UPS for any exam(s) missed.

 GRADING:  Student’s final grades for the course will be determined based upon the following
 schedule

EXAM MAKE-UP POLICY:  There are no make-ups for missed quizzes and/or exams.
