COMPUTER TIME

Approximately 15 to 20 hours per week of computer time is recommended for successful completion of course requirements.  It is highly recommended that you sign up for BCOT 3T in case, you need some help on campus.  The Lab is a .5 credit course that allows you to attend the lab.

All assignments must be completed in order to satisfactorily complete the requirements of this course.

Assignments: All assignments are due at the beginning of class on the date due. All assignments must be completed in order to satisfactorily complete the requirements of this course.

LEVEL 1 & 2 - SKILLS ASSESSMENTS - LAB

136 POINTS

There will be 68 CLASS/LAB PRODUCTION ASSIGNMENTS each worth 2 points.
All assignments must be turned in complete to receive full credit.

EXCEL LEVEL 1 ASSESSING PROFICIENCY

80 POINTS

Each assessment is worth 5 pts. each.
Unit 1 -- 35 pts. ( 7 assessments)
Unit 2 -- 45 pts. ( 9 Assessments)

EXCEL LEVEL 2 ASSESSING PROFICIENTS

 60 POINTS

Each assessment is worth 5 pts. each.
Unit 1 -- 30 pts. ( 6 assessments)
Unit 2 -- 30 pts. ( 6 assessments)

CONCEPTS CHECK HOMEWORK

16 POINTS

Each chapter Concepts Check Homework assignment will be worth one point.
Homework must be handed in on time.

CLASS PARTICIPATION

8 POINTS

TOTAL POINTS POSSIBLE (Final Grade): 300 POINTS
270—And Above Points = A
240—269 Points = B
