Thurs 9-10 a.m. E-mail: selizondo@cerritos.edu Website: selizondo@cerritos.edu/selizondo/ COURSE MATERIALS AND SUPPLIES: Microsoft Office OneNote 2007, Introductory Concepts and Techniques by Shelly Cashman Series, Thomson Course Technology COURSE DESCRIPTION: This course will teach the fundamentals of Microsoft OneNote, a
note-taking program. The course will expose students to practical
examples of the computer as a useful tool. It will acquaint students
with organizing, storing, and using notes electronically for school
lectures, work, personal, office, etc. It will develop an
exercise-oriented approach that allows learning by doing. Students will
learn to create pages that are organized in sections, just as in a
physical notebook; and if they enter handwriting from a Tablet PC,
OneNote can convert handwriting to text. Students will learn to
incorporate pictures and data into their notes as well as many other
features. COURSE OBJECTIVES:
CLASSWORK PROJECTS: There will be Three (3) main Projects each worth 100 points. The projects are to be read carefully and the step by step exercises and tasks for each of the projects are to performed. 300 POINTS HOMEWORK ASSIGNMENTS: There will be Apply Your Knowledge, In the Lab, and Cases and Places Homework Assignments. Each of these assignments are worth 10 points. There will be 16 Homework Assignments 160 POINTS EXAMS There will be two exams each worth 100 points. 200 POINTS
