COURSE DESCRIPTION:  Microsoft Outlook is an application that provides tools to send and
receive e-mail, organize schedules and events, and maintain contacts lists, to do lists
and notes.  Information in Outlook can be integrated with other applications in the
Microsoft Office suite.

COURSE SKILLS AND OBJECTIVES: 

Students will be able to:

  • Use Outlook for E-mail;
  • Manage Schedules and appointments
  • Manage Outlook folders and contacts
  • Organize your work using tasks and notes
  • Customize Outlook and use advanced features

Theory Assignments:  Matching and Fill-in the Blank There will be 6 homework
 theory comprising of Matching and Fill-in assignments after each chapter worth 15 points. 
 All homework must be turned in complete and on time to receive full credit.

Incomplete or late assignments will be half credit. Late assignments must be submitted
 within one week of the original due date to be accepted for a grade.  It is your responsibility to make
 up any missed work within the time lines specified here.

Skills Review & Mastering Projects
:
 There will be 46 Project Assignments each
worth 4 points at the end of each chapter.  All assignments must be turned in complete
 and on time to receive full credit. Incomplete or late assignments will be half credit.
Late assignments must be submitted within one week of the original due date to be
accepted for a grade.  It is your responsibility to make up any missed work within
the time lines specified here.

Computer Time:

Approximately six to eight hours per week of computer time outside of class is recommended
for successful completion of course requirements.
