Requirements: Computer with Pentium II CPU or higher;
Microsoft Windows;
128 MB RAM required for Windows XP; CD ROM drive
(8X or faster); modem or direct network connection to an ISP;
Internet service provider (ISP); an established E-mail address;
E-mail program to write, send, receive and read mail; ability to
use E-mail; sound card (Recommended).
Grading:
A point system will be used
for grading. The final grade will be determined
from class assignments,
speed increase, error decrease, technique check, proofreading
and skill.

Class Assignments
(80 POINTS): There are 40
sessions of class assignments, each
worth 2 points. Assignments must be
completed and handed in on time to receive full
credit. Incomplete or
late assignments will be half credit. Late assignments must be submitted
within one week of the original due date to be accepted for a grade. It is your responsibility to make
up any missed work within the time lines specified here.
Speed Increase
(50 POINTS (possible)): You
will earn points for increasing your
keyboarding speed during the
