CIS 101 Intro. to Computer Information Systems

Excel Project 4 - Financial Functions, Data Tables, Amortization Schedules

This lab assignment is from the Excel 2007, Complete Concepts and Techniques lab book.

1. Read and do the Financial Functions, Data Tables, Amortization Schedules tutorial, pages EX 265 - 321.

2. Type the following in empty cells below the chart, say cells A25 - A27:

   • CIS 101 Excel Project 4
   • Class Meeting Day and Time (example: Friday 9:00 AM)
   • Your name
3. Printout 1:  Check your work.  When you are done with the tutorial your printout should look like the following figure:
   • 4-1 on page EX 267
4. Printout 2:  You will need to print out a copy of your formulas.  Please use the steps on pages EX 135 - 137, Displaying and Printing the Formulas Version of the Worksheet.

5. Save your file one last time. 
6. Submit your homework for grading:

Traditional students:  Turn in the two printouts listed above.  Staple the printouts together with the formulas page as the last page.  I will take points off if the homework is not stapled.
Online students:  Upload the Braden Mortgage Loan Payment Calculator workbook file to the Excel Project 4 assignment in TalonNet.

Be sure to submit/turn in the lab assignment by the due date.
