Excel Project 6 - Creating Templates and Working with Multiple Worksheets and Workbooks

This lab assignment is from the Excel 2007, Complete Concepts and Techniques lab book.

1. Read and do the Creating Templates and Working with Multiple Worksheets and Workbooks tutorial, pages EX 417 - 477.  Pages 478 - 491 are very interesting, but are optional.  I hope you at least read through the pages and if you have time do the steps.  I will not be grading that part of the tutorial.

2. Type the following in empty cells below the chart, say cells A15 - A17:

   • CIS 101 Excel Project 6
   • Class Meeting Day and Time (example: Friday 9:00 AM)
   • Your name
3. Printouts 1- 5:  Check your work.  When you are done with the tutorial your printout should look like the following figures:
   • 6-72 (a - b) on page EX 477
4. Printout 6:  You will need to print out a copy of your formulas.  Please use the steps on pages EX 135 - 137, Displaying and Printing the Formulas Version of the Worksheet.

5. Save your file one last time. 
6. Submit your homework for grading:

Traditional students:  Turn in the six printouts listed above.  Staple the printouts together with the formulas page as the last page.  I will take points off if the homework is not stapled.
Online students:  Upload the NextDVR Profit Potential workbook file to the Excel Project 6 assignment in TalonNet.

Be sure to submit/turn in the lab assignment by the due date.
