Word Project 2 - Creating a Research Paper
This lab assignment is from the
Introduction to Office 2007 lab book.
Notes: I found one
minor/potential error in this tutorial. On pages WD90 - 91, To
Create a Quick Style. The steps are correct for creating a quick
style, but the Research Paper Paragraphs style may already exist on your
system. So you may get an error message that it already exists.
Just click the OK key to remove the error message and then the Cancel
key to close the Create New Style from Formatting dialogue box.
- Read and do the Creating a Research
Paper tutorial, pages
WD 73 - 132.
- Check your work. When you are done
with the tutorial your document should look like figure 2-1, page
WD 75 and figure 2-79, page WD 131.
- Type the following in the document
properties as explained on page WD 130:
- Author: your name
- Subject: CIS 101 Word Project
2, Class Meeting Day and Time
(example: Friday 9:00 AM)
- Save your file one last time.
- Submit your homework for grading:
Traditional students: Print the
research paper and the document properties page. The steps are
on pages WD 130 - 131. Please place the document properties
page on top of the research paper, then staple them together.
Points will be taken off for not stapling the assignment.
Online students: Upload
the Wireless Communications Paper file to the Word Project 2 assignment
in TalonNet.
Be sure to submit/turn in the lab assignment by the
due date.
