Systems Analyst Degree & Certificates
The Computer and Information Sciences (C.I.S.)
department offers three options for systems analysts majors. The
first option is the Verification of Completion ("mini certificate") that
concentrates on the minimum courses a systems analyst should take in
this area of study. The "mini certificate" is only 17 units.
The next option is the Systems Analyst Certificate which adds on more
courses to the "mini certificate" for a combined total of 42.5 units.
The last option is to complete the A.A. degree requirements which
consists of the certificate's 42.5 units plus the general education
requirements for an A.A. degree. Please refer to the current
Cerritos College catalogue for the general education requirements.
