UC Berkeley Cerritos College is a member of UC Berkeleys Transfer Alliance Project (TAP). Scholars Honors Program students are encouraged to participate in this program at Cerritos College. UC Berkeley's representative, Aarti Mehta, will be working with students involved in the Transfer Alliance Project. Students who are interested in this program should contact the Transfer Center and schedule an appointment with her. NOTE: You do not have to be a member of the SHP to join Berkeley's Transfer Alliance Project. UC Berkeley's Transfer Alliance Project requires at least a 3.0 cumulative GPA (transfer-level courses). Note: the GPA range of transfer students who were admitted to UC Berkeley in Fall 2007 was between a 3.50 and 3.89. **Do not forget to mention that you are a member of the Scholars' Honors Program.** UC Berkeley evaluators now consider your honors work as a factor in the admissions process. UCLA Transfer Alliance Program (TAP) Priority admission consideration to the College of Letters and Science. (Impacted majors will likely require higher than a 3.0 GPA and completion of all preparation courses for the major with "A's" and "B's"). International students may not be considered for priority admission.
