Part One: Structuring the Essay: This workshop covers writing a clear thesis and topic sentences, selecting avid support materials and organizing this material in a coherent manner

Prerequisites:

• You must have completed all reading assignments that pertain to our essay.
• You must bring all reading and class material s to the workshop.  You will need these to write your essay

Dates, Time, Location:

Monday, November 3 & Wednesday, November 5:

• 9:30 - 11:00 ASC
• 2:00 - 3:30 ASC

Tuesday, November 4 & Thursday, November 6

• 12:30 - 2:00 ASC

Part Two: Revising the Essay: This workshop covers proofreading the rough draft in a systematic manner, reading to discover the weak points in the presentation and catch any inadvertent grammar, punctuation, or spelling errors.

Workshop Prerequisites:

• You must have attended Part I of the workshop and completed the three body paragraphs
• You must bring one copy of your essay to the workshop
