This course uses Microsoft Excel to perform accounting spreadsheet functions. Excel is a vastly popular spreadsheet program and is quite useful to know. Introduction to Accounting is a required pre-requisite for this course. The Computerized Accounting Tutorial (BUSA 1T) is a required co-requisite for this course. There is no additional cost for the tutorial and attendance at the tutorial is not required, however, you will not be able to attend the tutorial unless you are registered. The text contains ficticious company data from which you will prepare spreadsheets. Templates are supplied for use in preparing these spreadsheets. Most of the templates are on a diskette that comes with the text, however, there are some instructor developed templates that you will need download to a diskette. To download the templates to a diskette, click on the templates link to the left and find the template you one. With the cursor on the template name, click the right button on the mouse and "save target as" Choose the A drive to save the file to your disk. |
