PARTICIPATION IN GRANT FUNDED PROJECTS - CERRITOS COLLEGE
Telecommunications Infrastructure Plan, Chancellor's Office, 1997 to
2009
The 1997-98 State Budget Act contained funds for expenditure
on the Telecommunications and Technology Infrastructure Program (TTIP). One
focus of that expenditure was for the library and learning resources
technology and electronic resources initiative for the acquisition of a
Group IV fax machine and Internet-based databases. To maximize the use of
the funds allocated to Cerritos College, I contacted participating fax
machine electronic database vendors for product information; evaluated the
various products; negotiated prices; arranged for licensing, maintenance
agreements, installation, local technical support; and made final
recommendations in a report submitted to the Cerritos College Board of
Trustees for approval. Continuing TTIP funding has resulted in the Library
acquisition of additional database subscriptions.

Multicultural Curriculum....", 1991 - 1992

acquisition and development of the library and instructional media
collections.
