We offer both degree programs and certification programs.  Cypress College offers advanced training in realtime writing for the working reporter.  We have both day and evening and Saturday classes.  In Orange County, our school has achieved the highest first-timers pass rate on the CSR for several years in a row.  All of our beginning CAT classes are taught by certified industry trainers.

Cypress College Court Reporting
translates into Career Success!

The field of court reporting is an exciting and rewarding career for both men and women.   The majority of our students are hired immediately upon passing the state certification examination.  The alternative career paths provide a challenging avenue for students who decide to enter the fields of closed captioning, steno-interpreting, text-entry, police department work, convention reporting, and legal secretary.

Cypress College has been an active member of RAPS since 1980.  The public school arena provides a student with a multitude of opportunities to diversify their learning base, seek their Associate in Arts degree, and earn credit for transfer status to a four-year institution.
