The College of Marin, Court Reporting Program was established in 1975. Our Court
Reporting Program is approved and recognized by the Court Reporters Board of California.
Our mission is to provide the essential training and experience to our students so that
they be considered a credit to the profession of court reporting upon graduation.
Our goal is to prepare our students to pass the State (CSR) Certified Shorthand Reporters
Examination, as well as the National Court Reporters Association's (RPR) Registered
Professional Reporter Examination. We currently offer daytime classes in Court
Reporting. Our program maintains a high first time pass rate on the CSR.
"Excellence in Court Reporting Education"
The profession of court reporting will continue to provide a challenging and rewarding
career because court reporters remain on the leading edge of technology in the legal
field.
