- College Gains Audi Education Partnership and New 2016 Q3 to Enhance Student Learning
The Automotive Import Technician Training Program (ITTP) recently received a new 2016 Q3 donated by Audi of America. The College also signed an agreement with Audi of America to join the Audi Education Partnership Program, which aims to attract skilled technicians to Audi dealerships. - Cerritos College to Celebrate Chinese Lunar New Year This Wednesday
The Chinese New Year celebration at Cerritos College will bring together community and diverse cultures. To celebrate the Year of the Monkey, the event will showcase performances, activity booths, workshops, free food, giveaways and prizes. Performances include Chinese opera, a lion dance... Raquel Lizarraga, administrative clerk for Cerritos College’s Technology division, recently received a Leader of Tomorrow awardfrom Assembly Member Cristina Garcia (#58) for her commitment to water safety and saving lives. - Taste of Soul Features African American Culture
Taste of Soul featured a presentation of roots and history of Southern soul food as African American culture. Following the presentation, attendees enjoyed soul food including fried chicken, sauteed collard green, and candied yams. The Black History Month celebration continues throughout the month. - Faculty Showcase Concert to Benefit Applied Music Students
The 2016 Spring Faculty Showcase brings together faculty, students, alumni, and the community for the annual event to raise scholarship funds for students in the applied music program.
