- STEM Students Show Santa Fe Springs Families that Science Can Be Fun
Cerritos College’s STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics) students shared hands-on science and math activities with families during the Science Fair at Santa Fe Springs Library. - Former basketball player Lisa Moya is inducted into CCCWBCA Hall of Fame

Although she was barely five feet tall, Lisa Moya stood tall for the Cerritos College women's basketball team from 1997-99 and led them to the Southern California Regional Playoffs twice, as well as the state tournament semifinal game. - Renee D. Martinez, President, Los Angeles City College, Shares Her Journey as Latina College President
Los Angeles City College President Renee D. Martinez presented a conversation about a journey of a Latina college president on March 24. Students and staff in attendance heard how Martinez became a college president starting from a preschool teacher, and how she overcame difficulties.
