- Women's Tennis Wins First CCCAA Dual Team State Championship

The Cerritos College women's tennis team capped off the most memorable season in school history, as they defeated De Anza College, 5-1 to win the CCCAA State Dual Team Championship on Wednesday. The Cerritos College Theatre & Film Department is pleased to present the charming family-friendly off-Broadway musical about "an average day in the life of Charlie Brown." - Toni Grijalva, Community Relations Coordinator, Named Employee of the Month of March

The Outstanding Classified Employee Selection Committee named Toni Grijalva as the recipient of the Outstanding Classified/Confidential Employee of the Month Award for March 2016. Toni began her career at Cerritos College in December 1984 in the Community Education department as a short-term temporary employee. She began her full-time career in December 1986 as a Secretary Clerk in Student Activities.... Link to the full story about Toni 
- Student Veterans Club and ASCC to Host Annual Military Ball
The Cerritos College Veterans Club and Associated Students of Cerritos College will host the Sixth Annual Military Ball on Saturday, April 30, 6 p.m., at Sheraton Cerritos Hotel. The annual event celebrates student veterans’ military heritage and their accomplishments. The formal affair is open to all Cerritos College students, staff, and employees. - Art Gallery to Feature Student Art Exhibition 2016
The Cerritos College Art Gallery is pleased to announce SAE 2016, the latest installment of the annual exhibition and juried competition of student artworks. This year's show includes nearly 130 student artworks hand-chosen by Cerritos College's art, design and photography instructors including drawing, painting, printmaking, ceramics, computer graphics, photography, video editing and animation... - Earth Week Activities Educate Campus on Environment
College celebrated Earth Week April 19 - 21 with various events and activities. Panel discussions, Food Garden presentation, guest speakers, film screenings and demonstrations taught participants how they can take part in environmental protection. Earth Day is an annual event celebrated on April 22. It was first celebrated in 1970, and is now celebrated in more than 193 countries each year. This year's Earth Week activities were the largest Earth Day celebration held on campus. 
- Re-entry Resource Program’s Community Resource Fair a Success
Cerritos College's Re-entry Resource Program hosted its Community Resource Fair on April 21. Nearly 20 local social service and community resource agencies and Fortune 500 companies participated. Representatives at each booth provided information and giveaways and answered questions about their services. 
- "I Can Afford College" Watch and Win Sweepstakes
The California Community Colleges Chancellor's Office launched the "I Can Afford College" financial aid awareness campaign's contest during Financial Aid Awareness Month. The Watch and Win Sweepstakes showcases the current campaign’s new ad, “A Little Bit of Magic,” and will run now through May 22, 2016 – winners will be announced in early June. The lucky grand-prize winner of this sweepstakes will receive a $5,000 scholarship that can be used for community college costs, such as fees, books, supplies and other education-related expenses. A second place winner will receive a MacBook Air and the third place winner will receive an iPad. Additionally, gift cards will be awarded weekly to contest participants.
