  • 19th Annual Senior Preview Day for High School Seniors

     

    Cerritos College held its 19th annual Senior Preview Day on April 7. Approximately 1,100 high school seniors and counselors attended the one-day open house event from nearly 40 high schools from the greater Los Angeles area. Activities began with a welcome rally in the gymnasium followed by more than 70 exhibit booths in Falcon Square...Link to the full story about the Senior Preview Day

  • College and Community Celebrate Asian Cultures

  • Women's History Month Essay Contest Winners Presented with Scholarships

     

    Winners of the Women's History Month Essay Contest were honored at a recent Board of Trustees meeting. Vanessa Bazan won first place for her essay, Based On True Events - My Mom Cleans Houses for a Living.     The Public Affairs Office was honored with PRO Awards at the annual Community College Public Relations Organization (CCPRO) conference in Anaheim on April 20.     The new Vet Net Ally Committee invites you to attend the first half-day Vet Net Awareness seminar with trainer Dr. Marshall Thomas, Director and Creator of the Vet Net Ally Program, Cal State Long Beach. The seminar focuses on the needs and concerns of military service members and student veterans.  At the end of the seminar, participants are given a decal to display their allyship to campus veterans and active service members.   • Join the Food Drive Contest and Help Students Stay Healthy

     

    The Student Health Center officially launched its Food Drive Contest to help replenish its Food Bank. The program was established in 2013 in response to students who needed a meal. The contest periods are April 24 - May 8. The winning team during both periods will receive a pizza party.
