  • Students to be Honored at Commencement on May 19

    Cerritos College will hold its 2017 commencement ceremony to honor its graduating students on Friday, May 19 at 6 p.m. in Falcon Stadium. The College will present associate degrees and skills certificates earned during the 2016-2017 academic year.     Cerritos College’s forensics team had an exciting end of the year competition. The team tied for fourth place out of 21 schools at the Pacific Southwest Collegiate Forensics Association Spring Cool-Off Tournament for novices at Rio Hondo College.     Registration for the summer 2017 College for Youth program is now open at Cerritos College. Classes begin June 19 and continue through August 11. The College for Youth program offers classes for children, first through 12th grade in math, writing, SAT, computer technology, cooking, music, art, and sports.   • Celebrate National Foster Care Awareness Month

     

    Cerritos College is celebrating National Foster Care Awareness Month with events during the month of May. The State of California serves approximately 63,000 foster youth. Cerritos College is home
