EmpowerMENt Workshops to Empower Men-Identified Students

EmpowerMENt is an initiative that aims to empower all students that identify themselves as men to better understand themselves and grow as leaders prepared to raise consciousness about gender equity. EmpowerMENt offers workshops on intersectionality and the construction of masculine identity. Through the series of workshops, you can build community with other students and mentors on and off campus. There’s no mandatory commitment, but if you attend all of the series, you can qualify to attend exclusive trips including off-campus retreats, conferences, and networking events.

EmpowerMENt is a joint initiative by iFALCON and the Office of Diversity, Compliance, and Title IX that works to create a men-identified space to promote critical self-reflection, build critical media literacy, and address men students’ needs for holistic support, academic Habits of Mind, situational awareness, and leadership development.
