National Manufacturing Day Inspires Students
The Technology Division hosted an open house for National Manufacturing Day earlier
this month. National Manufacturing Day is a celebration of modern manufacturing meant
to inspire the next generation of manufacturers.
Nearly 450 students and educators from ABC, Bellflower, Lynwood, Long Beach, and Downey Unified School Districts, and professionals from various industries participated. The event showcased the Advanced Manufacturing and Engineering Design Technology, New Product Development, Machine Tool Technology, Plastics/Composites, Woodworking, and Welding departments.
