Mayra Radillo Earns Certified Professional Public Buyer Credential
Purchasing Buyer Mayra Radillo recently earned a Certified Professional Public Buyer (CPPB) credential from the Universal Public Procurement Certification Council (UPPCC).
Mayra was among 77 professionals nation-wide, and one of six professionals in California, who successfully completed the CPPB examination. Established in 1979, this prestigious certification is an outstanding honor for individuals employed in the public procurement profession, and is an asset to the College as well. To become certified as a CPPB, candidates must demonstrate formal education, procurement related coursework/training, public procurement experience, and professional competency as a buyer in public purchasing by passing a comprehensive written examination.
“We are very proud of Mayra and her achievement in earning this notable professional designation in public procurement,” said Mark B. Logan, CPPO, C.P.M., Director of Purchasing and Contract Administration of Cerritos College. “Mayra represents both the Purchasing Department and the procurement profession with the utmost professionalism by serving the needs of the campus community and through her dedication to student success,” Logan said.
