iDebate Team from Rwanda Visits Cerritos College

The Forensics team hosted the iDebate Rwanda team on September 19 and 20. A friendly exhibition debate on hate speech was held on September 19. The Rwandan team visited two classes and participated in a panel discussion about immigration discourse on September 20. The iDebate team's visit provided an opportunity for intercultural engagement and education.

Voter Registration Day September 25

The College will be participating in a nationwide voter registration drive on Tuesday, September 25, 10 a.m. – 2 p.m. in Falcon Square. Stop by for voter registration materials, and have your questions answered about registering to vote. The event is being organized by several nonprofits, businesses and organizations, including the National Association of Latino Elected Officials (NALEO).
