Breast Cancer Awareness Walk participants

Breast Cancer Awareness Walk Raises $680

The Cerritos College 20th Annual Breast Cancer Awareness Walk raised awareness and funds for breast cancer research and education on March 14. With 33 participants, the walk generated $680 that will go to the Susan G. Komen for the Cure. One hundred children from Child Development Center participated in the walk. Prior to the walk event, Child Development raised and donated $578 by selling baked goods. The event is held every March as part of the College's celebration of the Women's History Month.
