Campus Forums - Updated Facilities Master Plan - April 3 & 4

Cerritos College is updating its Facilities Master Plan and will have two forums led by Gensler (architect/consultant) to present the campus community the draft of our updated Facilities Master Plan. Please plan on attending one of these forums. Wednesday, April 3, 4:30 p.m. - 6:00 p.m. in LC155, and Thursday, April 4, 11:00 a.m. - 12:30 p.m. in LC155. Forums will be videotaped and available to employees for later view.

Young Latinas Empowerment Conference a Success

Cerritos College hosted the 2019 Young Latinas Empowerment Conference on March 29. Spearheaded by ABC Unified School District Board Member Leticia Mendoza, the conference enlightened and motivated nearly 150 female high school students in attendance through workshops and panels led by women leaders in various industries.

The College's annual Women's History Month celebrated women with various events and activities this month. Film screenings and workshops on Umoja, Pregnant SEAS, and human trafficking were held in the final week of Women's History Month.

College to Participate in City of STEM: Launch Event on April 6

The College's Science, Engineering, and Math Division will be participating in the City of STEM launch event on April 6, 10 a.m. - 5 p.m. at Columbia Memorial Space Center. SEM will be hosting an earth science activity booth, and providing information about the College's offerings and programs.
