New Health & Wellness Complex Opens as Campus' First Green-Certified Building

Thanks to Measure G bond dollars, Cerritos College celebrated the grand opening of a new Health & Wellness Complex on April 8. The 76,000-square-foot facility is the campus' first green-certified building through the bond construction program that meets sustainability requirements outlined by the U.S. Green Building Council. Senior Preview Day Showcases Campus Programs

Cerritos College held its annual Senior Preview Day on April 5. More than 1,000 high school seniors and counselors attended the one-day open house event from high schools from the greater Los Angeles area. Participants visited over 70 exhibit booths in Falcon Square, financial aid and campus life workshops, and 30-minute campus tours. The College also hosted a special luncheon for high school counselors.

Children's Voices: Making Children's Learning Visible Art Exhibit

Join the Opening Event of children's art work and documentation. Light refreshments will be served at the Opening Event on April 15, 4:30 - 6:30 p.m. in Student Center. The Exhibit runs from Tuesday, April 16 through Thursday, April 18, 9 a.m. - 5:30 p.m., and Friday, April 19, 9 a.m. - 12 p.m.

Psychology Day Conference a Success

The Psychology Club hosted the Psychology Day Conference on April 12, featuring guest speakers, student research presentations, lunch social hour, alumni discussions, and resource tables. The one-day event provided an opportunity for students to explore the field of psychology.

iFalcon Forum Links up Students

The iFalcon Club presented iFalcon Forum on April 11 where students linked up with one another and engaged with the iFalcon acronyms. Guest alumnus speaker Jason Macias, former student trustee/ASCC president, lead the forum with discussions and fun activities. Participants enjoyed lunch at the end of the forum.
