Recipients of the Soroptimist International of Cerritos-Artesia's “Live Your Dream” Scholarship Recognized
Cerritos College students Francisca Lezama Conde and Rachael Zuniga-De La Rosa were recognized for winning the "Live Your Dream" Scholarship from the Soroptimist International of Cerritos-Artesia at the Cerritos College Board of Trustees meeting on June 19. The scholarship is awarded to women who are head of household, motivated to achieve their educational and career goals, and have met and overcome challenges. Congratulations Francisca and Rachael!
Cerritos College to Host Community Forum on Updates to Lot at 166th Street/ Studebaker Road on June 24
Cerritos College will host its second community forum of the year to update residents about changes to its property located at the 166th Street and Studebaker Road corner lot. CalFresh for Students
CalFresh is a nutrition assistance program that helps low-income individuals and families buy the food they need (formerly called the Food Stamp Program). A CalFresh Program Specialist will be on campus June 27, 9 a.m. - 3:30 p.m. in Administration Quad to help students with on-site eligibility screening, application assistance, & to answer questions.
